Our vision is simple, we are concerned with the health of our Planet and the people who live on it.
Our mission is to make a difference and to contribute to helping create a healthier planet and to help it's people achieve a higher level of health.
The current greens & produce we purchase and eat have been stripped of their nutritional values because of soil depletion, crops grown decades ago were much richer in vitamins and minerals than the varieties most of us get today. Unless your are growing your own or buying from local organic farmers.
Modern intensive agriculture methods have stripped increasing amounts of nutrients from the soil in which the food we eat is grown.
Add to that - that most of the produce you purchase at your local grocery store has traveled on average 1500 miles from the farm to your plate. In most cases, the farther your produce travels, the less nutritious (and tasty) it is by the time you eat it. In addition to that, the further food travels to reach consumers, the more fuel is spent transporting it - and has more environmental impact. This is called "food miles" and are a very important part of the environmental footprint of food production and consumption. If you want to reduce your overall carbon footprint, you need to think about sustainability and of the food you are consuming.
With all of this in mind, we created Eat More Microgreens. All of our products are grown hydroponically in a controlled environment. We sell our microgreens "live" which means they are as fresh as you can get. You cut them as you consume them, therefor they are full of essential nutrients and are jam packed with flavor!
In addition, we use 100% Vegan, Non-GMO, Organic seeds, growing medium, use reverse osmosis water and add only essential organic nutrients to the water to maximize their nutritional values and flavor. All of our trays and containers are food safe. We deliver in our trays and charge a $10 deposit which is returned when we get the tray back.
We strive to use recyclable and/or compostable packaging when ever possible - which is more expensive than other alternatives. We spare no cost in providing the highest quality products for consumption and are extremely conscious of our Planet Earth and the impact we have on it with everything we do!
Also, we are committed to teaching others how to grow their own food and become more sustainable. If you are interested in learning how, please contact us.
